Batmobile Build Episode 52 | Fanhome Issues 103–104: Passenger Door Installed! + LEGO Side Trim

Happy Saturday, bat fans—welcome back to BrickScale Studio. In Episode 52 of my Build the Classic 1966 Batmobile series, we finish the passenger-side door and finally get it installed on the scale model… which means the Batmobile now has both doors mounted. Huge milestone.

On the Fanhome scale model side (Issues 103–104), we continue the right-side door assembly with the hinge panel and trim, build out the inside panel and door handle components, then mount the door to the car using the hinge and EM screws (top and bottom). There’s also a classic “manual moment” in this episode—yep, a misprint—so I point out the correct hole placement so you don’t get stuck.

On the LEGO side, we add the matching trim piece underneath the door area on the opposite side, so both sides of the LEGO Batmobile now have that clean lower trim installed. From here, it’s a lot of small detail pieces as we head toward the LEGO finish line—while the scale model still has a big front section to tackle.
