Happy Thursday—welcome back to BrickScale Studio! We’re sailing into the weekend with another Build the Titanic episode, continuing our side-by-side journey: the Agora Models RMS Titanic (1:200 scale) compared with the LEGO Titanic (Set 10294).
Last week it was “windows, windows, windows”… and today it’s still windows, windows, windows—but with a payoff: we finish installing the remaining superstructure window sections for Issues 75–76, add support/stability pieces, install more LED lighting underneath, and then wire everything up for a full lighting test!
On the LEGO Titanic 10294 side, we keep building up the midsection layers as we continue the hull build through steps 196–210 (Box 2), adding more detail, including the iconic white and yellow stripe work.
Build stats (this episode) -
Scale Model (Agora Models): 12 steps / 72 parts
LEGO Titanic (10294): 39 steps / 220 parts
Total to date -
Scale Model: 479 steps / 982 parts
LEGO Titanic: 1,075 steps / 4,789 parts
Up next: we take a break from windows for a bit and shift focus to the metal hull sections over the next couple episodes, while the LEGO build continues stacking layers (and we’ll be getting into the funnel section soon).
