THE MOMENT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! After weeks of building, we finally install the first motor and test the Titanic's propulsion system - and it WORKS perfectly!
In Episode 19, we complete Issues 37 & 38 by installing the motor into the gearbox we built last week and conducting our first live motor test. Watch as the pistons turn and the entire propulsion system comes to life! Plus, we begin the LEGO Titanic funnel platform construction.
🔧 What We Build Today:
- Motor installation into the propeller gearbox
- USB power system and control switch setup
- First successful motor test with rotating pistons
- LEGO Titanic funnel platform base (Steps 271-285)
⚡ MAJOR MILESTONE: This is our first working motor in the entire Titanic build! The moment when all those individual components finally work together is incredible.
💡 Pro Tip: Having trouble with propeller rods? Loosen the screws under the thrust blocks - it makes installation much easier!
📊 Build Progress:
Scale Model: 246 total steps | 433 parts used
LEGO Build: 557 total steps | 2,340 parts used
🎯 Coming Next Week: Installing the propellers and adding the second anchor with self-retracting mechanism!
